The NJ State Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs (NJSFSC) purchases insurance just as most organizations. Where NJSFSC is different than most other organizations is that our liability coverage includes our members.
The NJSFSC purchases a liability policy for $1,000,000.00, Plus $3,000,000.00 Umbrella coverage. This policy includes liability coverage for damages to person or property while legally hunting, fishing, trapping or target shooting anywhere in the United States, its possessions or Canada.
When you become a member of the NJSFSC you are included as an additional insured on that policy.
When obtaining permission to hunt started to become difficult, the Federation saw this insurance as a door opener for its members. Gaining access to private lands became easier. Being able to provide clear evidence of insurance coverage to a landowner usually results in being able to secure permission to hunt, fish or trap on the landowners property.
Being a NJSFSC member demonstrates your regard for others and establishes you as a responsible individual.
Safe Hunting,
Anthony Pensabene, Membership Director
