Appeals court deals blow to bear hunt

No bear management policy, no bear hunt.
That’s been the rule in New Jersey ever since 2004, when the state Supreme Court cancelled a proposed hunt because the state didn’t have a valid black bear management plan on the books.
That decision was brought to bear on Thursday, when an appeals court upheld Environmental Commissioner Lisa P. Jackson’s 2006 decision to withdraw approval of the Comprehensive Black Bear Management Policy.
Jackson had done so to block a hunt proposed by the state Fish and Game Council.

trying to energize hunters and fishers and trappers
about how the US Fish and Wildlife Service, hunting
and fishing equipment manufacturers (that are
supposed to pay the excise taxes that support hunting
and fishing), State fish and wildlife bureaucrats,
and conservation organizations (whom we mistakenly
assume are our protectors) are really in league with
environmental and animal rights zealots to quietly
abandon hunting and fishing programs for the promise
of Federally funded environmental and animal
protection schemes that are immeasurable and are
touted to pay higher salaries to bureaucrats as they
keep getting politicians reelected ad infinitum.

NJ Outdoor Alliance and the upcoming election

Tuesday will be the official start of the
November elections campaign season. Below are
"3 Steps to Beat the Antis" that were sent to me by
Anthony Maura, Sr., Chairman of the NJOA. I
would add an additional step if you haven't yet done

There are roughly a mere 2500 members of the NJ Animal Rights Alliance across NJ, but they are taking this election VERY seriously and they have lots of money!! REPUBLIC OR DICTATORSHIP?

The basic distinction between a Republic and a
Dictatorship is the existence of private property.
Private property exists in a Republic and it does not
exist in a Dictatorship. Dictatorship covers the
spectrum of oppressors from the Mugabe Dictatorship
in Zimbabwe and the "limited" ("limited" meaning the
government can rescind it in a heartbeat at their
pleasure) communist governments in China and Vietnam
to the "on-again, off-again" Russian "democracy" and
the socialist rulers in places like Venezuela and
Bolivia. Dictatorships "nationalize" property,
dictate the use of any property, and take property
from those they wish to punish and give it to those
they wish to reward. In Dictatorships government
"owns" everything: in a Republic the citizens "own"
everything while giving limited control of certain
property to government to "establish Justice, insure
domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense,
promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings
of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity" per the
opening words of the Constitution of the United
States.
