The Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs, New Jersey’s Official NRA State Association is pleased to announce its annual “NRA Day at the Range.” The event will be held on Saturday, September 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cherry Ridge Range, off Canistear Road in Highland Lakes.
NRA Day is a perfect opportunity for individuals and
entire families to share the excitement, fun, and
safety aspects of the shooting sports. As a unique
learning experience, the event is specifically
tailored to those who have had little or no exposure
to firearms. Under the watchful eye of NRA Certified
Instructors, the public is given the opportunity to
try their hand at shooting pistols, rifles, and
shotguns, in a safe and pressure-free environment.
Offered at no charge, the event is open to anyone interested in learning about the shooting sports and activities in which NRA members participate. A light breakfast and a full lunch will be served and all equipment is provided.
Families and organized groups are particularly welcome to attend, however, pre-registration is required for all attendees. To register or to get more details about the event, contact John Donovan at NRAday@anjrpc.org. Go to www.anjrpc.org for directions to the range and for further information about ANJRPC.
